On your site you will want to create a profile page so your customers can get to know you. Staying true to that we will introduce you to our Coopworth theme!
You can see Coopworth has a traditional menu with menu items on the right and with the site name and / or logo on the left. But the cool thing about Coopworth is that the header is transparent on the homepage which allows a hero image or video to show under your logo and menu items. Once your site visitor scrolls down for more content the header background color becomes visible. This gives your homepage a striking clean introduction!
The cool thing about our IndieMade themes is that each of the themes header can be set to transparent on homepage just like Coopworth.
What's a hero image? A hero is a large photo (or even a video) that introduces your site visitor to your website. It defines what you sell or who you are. If you don't have a hero image no worries! IndieMade themes look great with or without them, we really focused on creating beautiful store and gallery views.
Notice in the photo below how the hero image is placed behind Coopworth's transparent header.
Coopworth's views for products, galleries and categories are 3 columns wide with large photos and respond beautifully on all devices. If you have great photos Coopworth's views are a great choice.
One thing we learned in the last 10 years is that our customers love certain design elements in some things. For example, they would love a certain theme but with they could have that certain design element in another theme.
The good news in our new version all of our design elements are interchangeable. If you like the header design in one theme but like the way the products are displayed in another. No problem all can be swapped out in the design settings section of the dashboard!
